The Federal Government has appointed music artistes, Timi Dakolo and Mr Eazi, as well as Saadatu Aliyu of the World Economic Forum’s Abuja Global Shapers Hub as anti-tobacco ambassadors.
According to a statement released by the Ministry of Health today, June 15, 2017, their appointment was to leverage on their massive influence among young Nigerians.
The appointment precedes the ministry’s planned launch of a six months national tobacco control communications campaign.
