Iwobi Scores Twice As Super Eagles BeatPlateau United 3-0

The Super Eagles continue their preparation for
Sunday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier against
Zambia in Ndola with a 3-0 win over Plateau
United at the National Stadium, Abuja, on
Wednesday.

Gent midfielder, Anderson Esiti’s goal in the first
half gave the Super Eagles the lead.
Coach Rohr made a raft of changes at the start
of the second half, bringing on the likes of
Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi, Arsenal forward,
Alex Iwobi, City striker, Iheanacho, and ex-
Plateau United trainee, Eddy Onazi.
In the 57th minute, Iwobi doubled the lead with a
beautiful solo goal before adding more gloss to
the score line with his second of the game in the
closing minutes.
